Drywall Repair
- Repair Cracks and nail pops - These are a normal occurrence with drywall. Settling of foundation can result in cracks. Repair method Depends on size of crack. Narrow cracks can be filled with paintable caulk, larger areas use a combination of drywall sheet, joint compound, and tape. Popped nails are replaced with screws to prevent future reoccurrences.
- Cutouts - Cutouts for minor remodel jobs should be sealed properly to prevent air leak.
- Water Damage - After cause of damage is repaired, drywall should be removed between studs and, after the stud space is properly dry, replaced. Edges are taped with joint compound to existing walls and feathered to hide the seam.
- "Kid Damage" - Roughhousing can result in dented walls. We can fix holes, dents, and other issues.
- Texture - Getting new texture to match existing texture is an art. Best attempts are always made, but an exact match cannot be guaranteed.
